Enchant before Evolve?

I'm not sure how enchant works in this game. Some cards games need to enchant cards to max before you can evolve.

Do I need to get cards max first in this game? Let me k ow asap thanks

It is not necessary to enchant before evolving, but enchanting will help the stats of the next level (but only the next level, any effects are lost when going to the level beyond). For a discussion of this, see this thread.
