Question about second Continent (Spirit Stones)

I am really confused on the second Continent in Spirit Stones. I really don't understand why are the monsters doing more damage but there life is low or equal to the damage. In the first Continent it made sense but now I don't understand my is a monster hitting for 3000 and his life is 1450. What's the idea behind these new monsters?

Well, it's the next part of the game, so it is supposed to be harder, and have better rewards. It was even harder some time ago, but they did some changes to make it easier now.
