Calculating Battle Success? Empty Calculating Battle Success?

Post by JimBonow Sun Nov 24, 2013 12:26 pm

Does anyone have a firm idea of how battle success is calculated? I'm specifically interested in knowing if my Party Attack and Party HP are the most important factors, or if the mix of card types (warrior, etc.) is vital. Also, am I better off with more lower-power characters, or is it just the same to have fewer higher-power characters if the Attack/HP is the same? The Help-Battle file in game indicates that you can "dominate the opponent with powerful cards", but I wasn't sure if that was a specific tip, or a general encouragement.

I'm unsure of this - but in the new update that will arrive this week, they will make changes to the Battle stuff, better animations and some other stuff.. so we might get a better idea of how it works Smile

I was wondering this as well. I even had a match where I finished with something like 4250 hp remaining, and it was considered a defeat! However, the new animation and setup seem to be a bit clearer. Seems to suggest type doesn't matter, only overall attack and hp (along with the battleskills).

I have also had a defeat when I have HP left in the new battle system.

I believe the reason for this is that the defending person had a safe on their item, and I think that the defeat is a glitch due to that. Instead of still recieving rp but no emblem, it just gives a loss.

Otherwise, it seems that attack and HP are the most important things, and the only other factor is the skills brought by more powerful cards, which seem to only go off once in a while. I have not noticed any effects based upon a monsters color.

I have had a victory which ended with me getting RP, but a message stating that the emblem was in a safe and I was not able to take it. Could still be a glitch, but at least it doesn't happen every time.

Anyone notice anything new? Are we looking for raw ATK or HP as more important? Or is it the best combination of both? If so, how much HP balances out per ATK?

I allready had 3 defeats when I had HP left and the opponent did not. Not sure when it happens but it is quite annoying to loose without knowing why.

Same. Started recently after the thanksgiving patch. One point I had >1500 hp left and still loss.

Hasmonean seems to be right, I read on various pages now that you get a loss when the other person has a safe.

Three more losses because of safes. Either I was mistaken about winning without getting a card, or something may have changed. But yes, it appears safe = loss Sad
